The goal-oriented contract just signed by Lyonbiopôle, the French state and the local authorities has set out the main development axes for a cluster with acknowledged excellence in the fields of infectious diseases, vaccines and diagnostics:
- intensify the public-/private-sector R&D collaborations
- attract national, European and international funding from the public and private sectors.
- provide local SMEs with business support
- develop strategic collaborations worldwide.
This goal-oriented contract marks the start of a new development phase for the Lyonbiopôle cluster, with a view to reinforcing the Rhône-Alpes region's leading position in the vaccine field.
