Bio-Imaging and AG Mednet join forces to offer a comprehensive medical image management service for clinical trials

In early December, Bio-Imaging (located at Bioparc Lyon) and AG Mednet (the international diagnostic imaging network) announced their joint development of new medical image management services for clinical trials. This innovative collaboration enables the rapid transmission of medical imaging data from investigating centers to the Bio-Imaging core lab. The secure, online service improves the quality of the collected information and significantly reduces image processing costs.

This new service has already been deployed in trials being run by major pharmaceutical companies and will be expanded further in the coming months.

As a global company, Bio-Imaging provides the pharmaceutical industry with imaging data management solutions at over 11,000 sites in 80 countries. Bio-Imaging was founded in the USA but gained a European presence by acquiring Theralys (a start-up located in Bioparc Lyon's Laënnec company incubator) in 2007.
