MOVES TO BIOPARC LYON®
As a specialist in the encapsulation of therapeutic molecules within human erythrocytes, ERYtech pharma is developing a promising technology which is capable of significantly improving the therapeutic index and biodistribution profile of the encapsulated compounds.
After a successful €12-million round of financing in late 2006, ERYtech Pharma has notably launched a Phase II clinical study on the use of encapsulated asparaginase for the treatment of relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
ERYtech Pharma (a spin-out from the Louis Bérard Cancer Center) is now moving into an 800-m2 module on the ground floor of the Adénine Building as part of the company's development strategy.
The move testifies to the critical importance of BIOPARC LYON®'s scientific and clinical environment for the development of hi-tech biotech companies.
