Novéalis launches E-Stellar, a new teleradiology and teleconsulting workstation

Novéalis (a start-up based in Bioparc Lyon's Laënnec company incubator) designs and develops IT tools for the medical community. Given the scarcity of physicians in some geographical areas and the need for ever more specialized consultations, the company is launching a new product called e-Stellar: a secure, high-performance, web-based workstation for teleradiology and teleconsulting. It enables a specialist to access medical imaging data on his/her patients from the surgery, during consultation, at the clinic, on duty or anywhere else.

The tool is currently running on a pilot site within the Lyons Public Hospitals Groups and will be marketed in late February 2009.
