ON INFECTIONS AND CANCER
In collaboration with the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ) and Cancéropôle Grand-Est, the CLARA Lyon Auvergne Rhône-Alpes cancer network is organizing a seminar on "Infections & Cancer" on January 23-24, 2009, at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in Lyons.
Lyonbiopôle and Fondation Finovi are also supporting the event, which will tackle the following themes:
- diagnosis and therapy of virus-induced cancers
- molecular mechanisms in virus-induced carcinogenesis
- virus-mediated strategies for escaping immune surveillance
